Nwobu Emeka Johnbosco becomes the first black Artist to Exhibit his works in Philippines


Chukwuemeka Johnbosco Nwobu is part of  the Society of Nigerian Artists (SNA) Anambra chapter, and his solo art exhibition was solely sponsored by the Nigerian embassy in Philippines to create a room of immersive and interactive sound artworks.

'' He is a man who is diligent in his ways and has through the exhibition shown the can do spirit of Nigerians, and positively shown that Nigeria could export her tourism and creative industry,'' says Adekunbi Abibat Sonaike Ayodeji, Nigerian Ambassador to Philippines.


That was evident throughout the solo exhibition, which took place at Art Plaza, Shangari-La Plaza, City of Mandalyong, Manilla.






 ''Driven by passion to provide young people with the inner strength to pursue their dreams'' and ''drive positive change in using arts to transform people's lives,'' says Emeka Johnbosco. ''People who love my works would discover the reason to become better and attain higher.''






Emeka's works are not limited to painting, he draws, does graphic designing and photography to express his inner thoughts.





The solo art exhibition ''Into the future'' had in attendance various dignitaries, such as the consular of Cambodia, Nigerian ambassador to Philippines and many art lovers, with several artworks on display.
