Presentation matters - Framing an artwork by Ofoma Chinemelu

Artwork Framing is an inspiring aspect of art presentation. I start by getting a good frame and archival framing materials. In the following examples i used a good frame, plexiglass, matte and a board. I then framed it neatly by placing the artwork, matte and board on the plexiglass lying on the frame. Take a look!

"Poor presentation can make great art look terrible. Good presentation can make terrible art look great."

Large oils or acrylics on heavy-duty stretchers do not need to be framed. The canvas should be stapled on the back and the edge should be painted.

Good presentation displays the artwork better and has a huge impact on the perceptions of the audience.
